A Masterpiece is a Tool created when Painting with four Passion, an inspiration with principle aspect of 5-degree or higher and a matching Pigment. This will create 1 Notoriety for using pigment. Using Lore or Spirits as inspiration will create another Notoriety. Thus, it is advisable to use 6-degree influences or unique disciples.
An exception to the above formula is the The Moth, which only requires for there to be any matching inspiration slotted in as Passion provides enough Moth influence to create the painting.
Masterpieces are auctionable, but can only be created once.
Masterpieces cannot be given to followers as gift, thus they are more useful as tools to perform rites. Masterpieces can be given to insane hunters with lvl 14 lore to recruit them.
